Whoopy Yun Fashion College has a new Initiative, We are super excited to announce that Fash4dev has given birth to Create4dev and we can’t keep calm.
If you are new and wondering what fash4dev is, fash4dev means Fashion for development, fash4dev is a 6 months long fashion and entrepreneurship training, done twice a year in Whoopy Yun Fashion College, with fash4dev we empower out of school girls and vulnerable women with fashion and entrepreneurship skill for FREE! Yes for free, the beneficiaries will create jobs first for themselves and minimum of two others and empower minimum of three others with the skill.
fash4dev is currently on its fourth cohort, we couldn’t have done this without the support of World Connect, Inc.USA, World Connect is our major partner, who provide us with not just funding, but also with technical support.
Now we launch the application for our new project, which is create4dev. Create4dev mean creatives for development. with this we will be empowering out of school youths both male and female with graphic design and digital printing, photography, soft furnishing and tambour beading and embroidery, yes will also equip them with leadership and entrepreneurship skills.
